America is mourning. Conservative leader Charlie Kirk was assassinated — a shocking act of political violence. At a moment when unity and respect should have been the response, Rep. Ilhan Omar once again chose hatred. Her remarks following Kirk’s murder were so vile that House Republicans are moving to strip her of her committee assignments, led by Rep. Nancy Mace.
This isn’t the first time Omar has disgraced America. She brushed off 9/11 as “some people did something.” She’s pushed to defund the police in Minneapolis, while her district suffered rising crime and chaos. And she’s consistently aligned herself with anti-American movements that weaken our nation.
Her latest comments prove she is unfit to sit on any committee deciding the future of this country. Our committees should be led by patriots — not politicians who excuse terrorism, belittle American victims, and use tragedy to stoke division.
