Orchestrating a coalition of its terror proxies—Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and militant factions in Iraq and Syria—Iran sought to encircle and weaken Israel, diverting international and Western attention while it brazenly advanced its nuclear ambitions.
The Biden administration loosened sanctions against Iran, opening the floodgates for billions of dollars to flow into the regime's terror chest. This access to funding directly translated into enhanced capabilities for Iran's terror proxies and accelerated its nuclear program, equipping Hamas and Hezbollah with devastating arsenals aimed squarely at Israel.
Through its policy of appeasement and conciliation towards Iran, the Biden administration has nudged the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism dangerously close to wielding a nuclear arsenal. It's nothing short of outrageous that, faced with these existential threats to Israel and the West, the Biden administration has chosen to apply its 'maximum pressure' not on Iran—the leading state sponsor of terrorism—but on Israel. By pressuring Israel to pull its defensive punches against Hamas and Hezbollah, the U.S. is forcing our ally to fight with one arm tied behind their back while Iran's terror proxies grow bolder by the day. Specifically they’ve been pressuring Israel to not finish off Hamas in Rafah and not more aggressively confront Hezbollah in Lebanon. They want the homicidal terrorists on Israel’s borders to survive while doing nothing about Iran getting nukes.
